125°C

Shielded Performer

Perma Works applies the same rugged and high reliability thinking to our conventional shielded electronics.

These are complete PTS tool electronics with a collar counter which can run in both memory mode and wireline. These electronics have been interfaced to the Warrior logging system easing adoption.

Although, rated for 125°C, these electronics continue to operate up to 150°C. Our conservative design will last for years of logging. This is an excellent level to work with for conventional oil and gas wells or logging geothermal.

200°C

High Temperature & Long Life

Perma Works designed a complete set of PTS electronics with collar counter around the newly released Texas Instruments HT chip set.

This is an incredibly power set of electronics and we should know. Texas Instruments hired Perma Works to create an evaluation system for testing them @ 200°C!

Unmatched capabilities at 200°C with an expected operating life of 1000 hours! These electronics can be used for a wide range of applications going beyond the PTS basicas. Applications such as: acoustic tools, multi-arm calipers and MWD tools.

250°C

Extreme Digital

Perma Works has a complete set of electronics produced from Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) technology. These electronic devices were designed for use in other industries that have extremely strict reliability qualifications. As such, they have a 225°C/5 year temperature rating. Most of these devices are so well designed; they will continue to operate above 300°C.

Again, Perma Works works with leading electronic component manufacturers to develop and manufacture electronic components rated to these requirements. We can then use these devices in our geothermal logging and well monitoring tools.

300°C

Peak Temperature

We at Perma Works are not afraid of taking on 300°C and standing behind our solution.

Our tools are designed without life limiting rubber O-rings, a common failure point in extreme environments, and with with high end reliable electronic components. There are limitations when working at these temperatures but you will not find a more experienced set of electronic designers for high temperature than here at Perma Works.
